The Portage County Park District's Headwaters Trail (a rail-to-trail conversion) in 2017 connects the towns of Mantua and Garrettsville with plans to extend the trail on the books. Bicycling, hiking/running, cross-country skiing, and horseback riding are allowed on the trail. The State Route 700 trailhead access point features a gravel-surfaced parking lot and is located due south of the village of Hiram and Hiram College.
"The stop was known as the 'Home of Hiram College' and served as a post office and milk stop for local farms until it burned down in 1904, after which the Garrettsville station assumed those services."
In addition to serving as a parking lot and trailhead for the trail, the site features an historical marker. The marker and small display marks the former site of the Jeddo Station.
The plaque reads as follows:
"On this site once stood the Jeddo Station, a stop on the former Atlantic & Great Western Railroad, succeeded by the Erie Railroad and then the Erie Lackawana. The line carried freight and passengers between Youngstown and Cleveland from the late 1800s until 1977 when passenger service ended."
